Our Doctors


Dr. Wendy R. Snyder

Dr. Snyder has been working at HERVS since 1989 and became the medical director of our facility in 1998. Since 2005, Dr. Snyder has been President of the Harford Veterinary Medical Association. A 1987 graduate of the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Snyder enjoys gardening, deep-sea fishing and cooking in her spare time.

Dr. Mark Levine

Dr. Levine has been working with HERVS since 2011. He completed his studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Levine is a skilled surgeon and diagnostician. Don't let his youthful appearance fool you. He handles emergencies in a calm professional manner.

Dr. Lucas Trout

Dr. Trout is a Harford County native and a graduate of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Trout is the newest addition to the HERVS team. Dr. Trout interest lie not only in companion animal medicine but large animal as well. He is newly married and he and his wife enjoy hiking along the Ma and Pa Trail with their two dogs Sadie and Lucy. We welcome him and his enthusiasm for veterinary medicine.

Dr. Lisa Baker

Dr. Baker was a veterinary technician at HERVS while she pursued her undergraduate education at Salisbury State University. She graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. Baker joined the HERVS team as an ER doctor in 2007. She has two adorable sons and volunteers at local rabies vaccine clinics. In her spare time, Dr. Baker enjoys drawing, painting and ballet.


Dr. Vivian Ho

Dr. Ho is a Texas transplant graduating from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Dr. Ho is our “resident” bird and exotic doctor. She works at Harford Emergency Veterinary Services on a part-time basis and we’re glad to have her.

Dr. Martha Tubman

A 2004 graduate of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Tubman completed an internship at the Baltimore Zoo before joining the HERVS family in 2008. She and her husband live on a farm where they care for sheep and goats.
