Emergency Care
Emergency care involves stabilizing the sick pet and may include placing intravenous catheters, administering IV fluids, administering medications, oxygen therapy, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.  Our in-house laboratory and radiology capabilities enable us to get crucial diagnostic information very quickly.  HERVS stocks various blood products which guarantees that patients will have access to a safe and adequate blood supply. Harford Emergency & Referral Veterinary Services in Bel Air has a dedicated, fully equipped surgical suite, should your pet's condition require immediate surgical intervention.


Critical Care

HERVS is fully equipped and staffed to provide state-of-the-art intensive care medicine. Our doctors, technicians and assistants closely monitor critical patients.  We offer continuous ECGs, oxygen support, fluid therapy, blood pressure and blood gases monitoring and other advanced procedures.
