Good evening:
I wanted to write to thank the staff at Harford Emergency for helping my dog Maggie yesterday. I brought Maggie in because I had found a broken bottle of antifreeze in my garage and I had no idea if she had gotten into it or not. She had been the garage for a few moments but I didn't know if she had come in contact with the antifreeze. I really felt that she had NOT gotten into it, but I couldn't rest until I knew 100% for sure, as I know if she had it could be fatal.
I called the office and asked if there was a test that could be done to determine if she had gotten into it or not and I was told that there was! So, I brought her in for the test, and it came back fine! She had not ingested any antifreeze! Thank God!
Thank you to Ryan, who was at the desk when I called and when I arrived. He was very professional and he and I chatted about anything and everything which helped to keep me calm while I waited the results of Maggies' test. Thank you to everyone who had any dealings with Maggie. Thank you to Dr. Watson! Unfortunately, I did not get everyone's names but you all were so kind and compassionate and "we" (Maggie and I) appreciate it very much.
This is my second visit to your offices with Maggie, unfortunately. The first time was June of 2010 when she had a bout with HGE. Everyone there then was equally as kind and compassionate and the end result was excellent as my baby girl was ok.
Thanks again, and nothing personal, but I hope I don't see you anytime soon. :)
All the best to everyone at Harford Vet - patients and professionals!
Regards,
Bernadette B. & Maggie
Maggie sends doggie kisses and hugs to you all!
